The MLC meets airline carry-on size requirements and holds several days' worth of gear. With ergonomic shoulder straps that tuck away, it easily converts from suitcase to backpack. Two large compartments separate town garb from climbing gear. Coated fabrics (1,680-denier Ballistics Cloth nylon and 210-denier prismatic reflective nylon for visibility) deflect rain and sleet; an adjustable, floating mesh pocket doubles as a compression panel; and the external pockets have water-resistant zips.
